Its combination of white with overlapping layers in royal blue and black give that sophistication that a union like this demands. However, the Air Jordan 1 has always been the sneaker the two seem to revisit and who could blame them? Every time a pair of Travis Scott Jordan 1's releases they receive millions of raffle entries and sell out so quick that they fetch thousands on the aftermarket. dealer It will undoubtedly be one of the best proposals of the year, these Air Jordan 1 Low x Travis Scott x Fragment combine the best of the three involved in a historical silhouette. Advanced users get access to SketchUp Shop and SketchUp Pro, which include a ton of extra capabilities. You may use the free version of SketchUp on your web browser. Although it lacks some of the functionality offered in other architecture tools like Revit or Vectorworks, some users utilize SketchUp for more intricate design. It is generally recognized as one of the most simple to use and learn 3D modelling applications.Īs its name suggests, SketchUp is a sketch-based program that is mostly used for concept design. It’s about doing stuff with our files that we can’t do with desktop. What actually is SketchUp and what is its workflow?Īs a 3D modelling tool, SketchUp is mostly used by architects and interior designers. And even if SketchUp for iPad allows for something more streamlined our work with iPad is not exclusive to SketchUp. I don’t feel the connection to the iPad is efficient if it needs manual micromanagement and Trimble Connect forces us to do that. I wish Trimble Connect would allow LAN and WLAN sync between computers and devices, besides scheduled/manual syncs to the cloud. This system allows me to keep managing my working folders on windows explorer, without needing to drag files to a cloud folder for syncing. As soon as it’s shared to that folder, it pops up on desktop. As soon as a file is saved on a working folder in the desktop, it becomes available in iPad. I only use Trimble Connect for daily syncs between us at the office, where each one works on their own computers and then sync at the end of the day, as well as to publish deliverables and models to project stakeholders.įor iPad I use the Documents App to sync files to the iPad and Back to the desktop. Well, I have box.net, OneDrive, iCloud, Google Drive and Dropbox, but use none of those for daily work. This is both faster and consistent as well as it allows as much storage as your ipad can handle. You just have to setup a Windows SMB server and choose any shared folder from your desktop and it’s always on Sync with your iPad. This external harddrive syncs via wifi without the need to send files to the cloud. The Documents solution can both integrate all those cloud solutions, just like the files app, it also integrates the files app, but it allows us to connect directly to the Desktop computer as if our iPad was an external hard drive. What it doesn’t allow is instant sync of folders and files like One Drive and other usual cloud solutions. Trimble Connect with a Studio subscription allows unlimited storage space and other advantages that are not directly connected to iPad. The problem with these solutions is that they have limited storage space. In that sense it’s the same as Dropbox, Box, Drive, iCloud, and so on. I checked One Drive again and it doesn’t seem to allow a direct sync between files in my computer and iPad without getting them through the cloud. 12/29/2023 0 Comments 1.2 rimworld modsBeckon mind-controls foes into approaching you.Waterskip showers fires with extinguishing water.Flashstorm calls down a storm of lightning.Skipshield creates a small temporary safe zone for attack or retreat.
12/29/2023 0 Comments Cheese slicer kit amazonAlthough I don’t love the material – which is likely some sort of polyethylene, notoriously difficult to keep clean – it nevertheless feels great in my hand.Īnd this slicer is also sturdy, and constructed from die-cast zinc. One thing that stands out immediately is the soft, ergonomic grip, something that OXO is pretty well known for. This cheese slicer is another variation on the classic model. The OXO Cheese Slicer is one of those quality, affordable tools, and one that certainly deserves a place on this list. OXO is a pretty well established brand in the kitchen space, known for making quality, yet affordable kitchen tools. So if you’ve got limited space in your kitchen cabinets, you may want to take storage into consideration. The base is about 10” by 8” (slightly smaller than a normal piece of office paper), and about an inch and a half thick. It’s really a cheese slicer and a cutting board/serving tray in one. The nice thing though is that the design also lets you cut cheese to as thick or thin as you’d like, without restriction.įinally, this is clearly larger than most cheese slicers on the market. And the base has rubber feet too, to make sure it doesn’t slip around at all during use.Īlthough the RoRo works well, the design makes it difficult to create precise, uniform slices, so if that’s important to you, you may need to look elsewhere. I wouldn’t use this for very hard cheeses – like a parmesan – but this style works exceptionally well on medium hardness cheeses, like cheddar, monterey jack and gouda. It’s so elegant, in fact, that you may even jump to use it for your next charcuterie spread.įunctionally, the RoRo cheese slicer works well. The wooden base is beautifully crafted from end-grain acacia wood, and patterned with a natural two-tone finish. It works great, and is suitable for cheeses up to 6 inches wide.Īnd obviously, it looks great. A different design, this cheese slicer is composed of a stationary cutting board and simple wire and lever cutting mechanism. So, as long as you’re not planning to use this on massive hunks of cheese, you should be good to go. And moreover, this slicer will not work on cheese blocks wider than 3.5 inches. First, the design will not allow for slices thicker than ¼ inch, much less cubes. That said, they also offer a one year warranty, which is nice.Īlthough this is a fantastic cheese slicer for most uses, there are a few notable limitations. The wire is adjustable, meaning you can go from relatively thick ¼ inch to paper thin slices, and Bellemain even throws in an extra, replacement wire if anything happens to the first. And strength is very important when it comes to cheese slicing, especially when you’re working with hard cheeses, not just so that the slicer doesn’t break, but to prevent warping and uneven slices as well. The cheese slicer is made from a single piece of zinc alloy, and is very sturdy. I really like the look of this slicer – which has what looks to be a brushed nickel finish – and the feeling of it in my hand. These style cheese slicers are the most common in most kitchens, and in my opinion, also the simplest to use. I have run into this in several forums where users are just as perplexed as I as to why BD is being so insistent about this supposed "conflict". I have been seeing BD support tell a lot of users recently to remove Spyware Blaster and Spybot if they intend to use BD. I'm VERY HAPPY though with the full version and I told BD that Spyware Blaster has some neat tools that I don't want to give up either. I've used your wonderful proggie from its inception and you even made me a Lite version once for 98SE (remember?). I was aware of most everything you touched on but I needed to hear you say it as I was mystified by Bit Defender support's attitude and wondered if I could possibly be missing something. Javacool, thank you for that detailed reply. Plus it's free and I'm always happy to answer questions. While IE 7 is indeed another step in the right direction (as was IE 6 SP2, which shipped with XP SP2), layered security is extremely important, with the number of vulnerabilities and issues being discovered every week (let alone the number of ways the bad guys are trying to trick users into installing their software). Even with IE 7, SpywareBlaster is still highly recommended. If you happen to get anything else out of BitDefender support, please don't hesitate to post - I'd be very interested to see what they say. But anti-spyware is a different ballgame altogether, and SpywareBlaster is still further unique in it's approach, which is much more of a "passive/proactive protection" and has been carefully tuned and maintained to ensure that conflicts don't happen. In the past, anti-virus companies have suggested against running more than one "active-scanner" anti-virus product at any one time, which is fairly sound advice because of how such products work. There is always the possibility that tech support is merely trying to eliminate "potential" causes for the problems you are experiencing with BitDefender in the hope that they'll hit the cure. So I'm not sure why BitDefender support suggested you uninstall SpywareBlaster (and Spybot). What has been seen in the past, is programs dealing poorly with the Restricted Sites protection, for example - but any user can add sites to the restricted sites zone themselves via Internet Explorer, so any other program that chokes on things like Restricted Sites entries or large hosts files - which SpywareBlaster does not implement - could probably deal with things much more gracefully, to put it nicely. Nothing has to remain running in the background, nor is there any reason anything should be slowed down by SpywareBlaster itself. (To address an issue in the other thread you linked - SpywareBlaster is about the lowest-cost protection you can implement on your system. So there's nothing running that could conflict with BitDefender, nor is there really anything about it's protection methods (ActiveX protection via kill bits, cookie blocking, restricted sites protection, etc.) that should conflict either. There is nothing about how SpywareBlaster functions that should conflict with Bit Defender or, frankly, any other similar program (anti-virus, firewall, etc).Īs I'm sure you're aware (but for the sake of any others who are interested) SpywareBlaster doesn't even have to remain running - it enables protection and then you just have to close it. I have a longer post about this issue here (number 21). So, do you have any understanding of what the heck they are so defensive about and why they are telling users that we can't use your application and Patrick's (even when not using TeaTimer)? I am also going over to ask Patrick about his proggie and BD. The reply from BD was a complete silence regarding my request for an explanation and no interest in keeping me as a customer. I also stated that if there really is this conflict that causes internet slowdowns and hangs that I would instead uninstall BD and look for another AV even though I really like BD rather than uninstall my two oldest and most favorite antispyware applications. I wrote back and told them that I would like them to please explain the reasoning behind this demand as I couldn't see how the two could possibly conflict. Support just told me that I MUST uninstall your great little proggie if I want to continue to use BD (along with that I must uninstall Spybot also). (Bit Defender also claims a major conflict with Spybot and if one were using TeaTimer I could see a possiblity of conflict since BD now has antispyware scanning but Spyware Blaster I cannot understand). Javacool, could you explain please why Bit Defender has a major conflict with Spyware Blaster? I cannot fathom how that could be. 12/27/2023 0 Comments Luminar vs pixelmator proSo it’s apt that Adobe was quick to release a native version of Photoshop designed for M1 or Apple Silicon Macs. Read on for our guide to the best pro photo editors for Mac, including some excellent Photoshop alternatives.īack in the mists of time, Adobe’s Photoshop was the killer app that gave the Mac credibility in a world of Windows PCs, and established the Mac as the favored tool of creative users. If you are also considering buying a new Mac read our guide to the best Mac for photo editing and our guide to the best Mac. And don’t forget that most of these professional-level editing programs also provide a free trial – ranging from one week to a whole 90 days in some cases – so you can take your time deciding which program best suits your needs and your budget. Rivals such as Pixelmator Pro and Affinity Photo can provide impressive editing tools for less, and while they may not match the sheer scope of Photoshop they will be more than adequate for many professional users and more serious amateur photographers. However, Adobe’s decision to move its professional software products to a subscription payment system a few years ago antagonized many users and opened the door to rival photo-editors that still just require a simple one-off payment, without committing you to a long-term subscription. The sheer depth and range of Photoshop’s editing tools are still unrivaled, with the latest version boasting new artificial intelligence features that can actually change the expression on a person’s face, or even make them look older (and balder). Photoshop has always been the king of the photo-editing market.
